International Law Certificate Program

ILC students planning a career in international law can receive additional training in ILC's certificate program in International Law.  The program is recognized throughout the United States and signals to potential employers that a graduate has advanced training in international/foreign affairs.

Program Requirements

Credit hours and courses: The candidate must successfully complete a total of 20 credit hours for graduation with a Certificate in International Law (Certificate); the 20 credit hours must be courses designated within the program.

Required Program Core Courses

The candidate must successfully complete the (4) required core courses, each of which must be taken at ILC for graded credit.

Elective Program Courses

Chinese Studies Certificate Program

ILC students planning to engage in business or work in China can receive additional training in ILC's certificate program in Chinese Studies.  The program is recognized throughout the United States and signals to potential employers that a graduate has advanced training in Chinese Studies.

ILC is dedicated to helping students learn and understand the Chinese culture and language.  We satisfy all the needs of our students by offering a full curriculum in Chinese culture and language.  These courses lead students not only to China's past and present but also to her future.

Knowledge of Chinese has proven increasingly valuable for many who pursue careers in areas like anthropology, economics, history, political science, and religious studies, and for many others who pursue careers in international trade or government service.

Multicultural Certificate Program

ILC students planning to work and engage in business with the diversed cultures of the World can receive additional training in ILC's certificate program in Multicultural Studies.  The program is recognized throughout the United States and signals to potential employers that a graduate has advanced training in Multicultural Studies.

ILC is committed to offering and developing diverse and balanced curricula in all of its ethnic studies disciplines to promote self-discovery, social awareness, and appreciation of the cultural diversity of all major ethnic groups in America.  The course offerings are designed to expand students awareness and understanding of the rich and unique histories and realities that have shaped our American experience.

ESL English as a Second Language

ILC offers intensive English language instruction for international participants and local residents who want to learn English for business, fun, or further study. We offer weekend and evening workshops.  In addition, we offer additional Civics and Naturalization Workshops to help with preparation for Citizenship Examinations.
